I think this was actually a cover to a French edition of a Jimi Hendrix best-of compilation, but I could be wrong about that. I do think that Moebius is one of the best artists to really sum up the kind of music that Hendrix produced.

Moebius does a series of paintings of Marvel Comics characters, which were used in various promotional ways. I’ve heard that there is a poster of at least one of these still hanging in the hallways of Marvel headquarters.
